4wd maintenance

This is my first 4wd to own. Do any of you guys have a regular maintenace schedule you follow as far as fluids go?

front-end, rear-end, transfer case?

No real maintainance schedule here. I purchased my truck used with 60K on it, and I changed all the fluids over to synthetic at that time. Everything still had the factory fill.

The fluid in the front differential was the cleanest looking, the rear diff. was dirty, but not bad, and the T-case ATF was the dirtiest of them all, almost black when drained. The differentials now have syn. 85W-140 and the T-case syn. ATF. 40K miles since the change and I don't plan on changing out again anytime soon.

This is where I believe synthetic lubes shine. Combustion does not take place here, and the extra cost can be justified with an extended drain interval.
