4wd Light Stays On all the time

I went down a gravel road, now my 4wd light stays lit all the time, even though its in 2wd.

What or Where should I start looking at first?

Thanks

The switch is on the actuator on the front axle. If you get under there, you should be able to see what I am talking about. There is a 2 wire plug and then the switch screws out. You could take it out to make sure that it slides free. You should also be able to see the light go out when you take it out of there. If not, you either have a bad switch or wiring.

Good luck!

No need to remove the switch to test, just unplug it.
If the light goes out. problem is the switch. If it stays on problem is wiring.
