I've got DDP 4kgsk's in my rig. Been driving for a few months, but never really rapped it out. I did yesterday and while going for 4th after shifting at 3900, the RPM's wanted to hang. Now it seems like if I go over, say, 2300, it'll be slow to return to idle. My VGT does leak a little into the compressor housing, but not nearly as much as the hx35 it replaced, though I'm still nervous about a runaway. Any thoughts on the springs? It idles perfectly at 500 rpms, too...

You might have over tighten the governor springs. Also 500 RPM is a little low for idle. The idle should be around 750-800 with the A/C on in neutral.
