47RH Auto Suddenly No Forward gears

I was driving my truck today and went around a corner and suddenly had no forward gears. Reverse was still functioning properly, but nothing in any forward gear. The transmission was just installed a couple of months ago but hasn't been driven much since then(about 250-300 miles). But up until this point, all was well. I had been driving it all around town since I installed it to make sure eveything was ok before I took it on a trip, and no problems. The transmission was purchased used from another truck with supposedly low miles. I had my local trans shop disassemble it and look it over to see if it needed anything before I installed it. The trans shop said it looked really good and didn't recommend anything except replacing the overdrive clutches since the showed a little wear, (which they did), but the rest of the trans looked good. I had no reason to doubt them as they didn't try to sell me anything and I felt they were being straight with me. Does anybody have any opinions on what could cause a sudden loss of all forward gears? I had been driving it about 15 miles when this happed. I drove it about 10-12 miles at highway speeds before I got to town, then drove it 10-12 blocks in town when it happened. One minute it was just fine, and the next minute it wouldn't pull itself out of its own tracks. Fluid level is full(ATF+4), gear selector is hooked up ,and all other gears(park, rev, neutral) are working correctly. Nothing made any unusual noises such as a thump or any sound that sounded like anything broke.. I am stumped!!!!! Any opinions from anybody here?????

I guess the rear clutch seals have failed. This clutch is engaged in all forward gears and NOT in reverse. It could be something related to this clutch but it will require a taerdown to inspect it.
First I'd say to do a pressure check according to the factory sevice manual.

Did you pull it down into manual low and see if it moved? If it does then the low roller clutch has failed. If not then anything about the forward drum (rear clutch) could have failed. Another possibility is the spline out of the input carrier could have stripped. Altho that shouldnt have happened as the front carrier in your year model trans is steel, unless someone swapped it out to an aluminum carrier.

As the guy said above me.
The plantaries could of stripped, espically if its aluminum.
When I tore apart mine the plantaries where alum.
I replaced them w/ steel.

I installed it myself. Unless its the overdrive clutch pack I doubt they will warranty any of the other parts since they didn't replace those parts. Unless it is determined the problem was from improper reassembly..........Could improper adjust of the TV cable cause this?
