47RE Have Overdrive when cold, lose it after warmup
I have a 2001 Cummins Auto, One day my transmission is fine, later that day it starts revving really high to shift from first to second, shifts early to third and will only go into overdrive first thing in the morning or after it has sat all day at work and cooled down.
Fixes I've tried - Replaced gov pressure solenoid,
grounded APPS to neg battery terminal,
replaced output speed sensor.
When it does go into overdrive it seems like it slips a lot and never really locks in firmly. I've looked on the forum for this issue but haven't found this exact problem.
Thanks,
Jason

Do you have a transmission temp gauge? What is the fluid like, last time the filter was changed?
Sounds to me like your TC is going out if all you do is rev and the truck doesn't move as well as it should.

I changed the filter and fluid and replaced the gov pressure solenoid and output speed sensor about 3000 miles ago. The transmission has not gotten better or worse, it does the same thing all the time. Overdrive when cold, no overdrive when warmed up. I do not have a trans temp gauge. I'm sure I don't have even 300hp the only mods on my truck enginewise are a k&n filter and silverline exhaust, the HY35 turbo went out on it and I replaced it with an HX35w but I didn't notice a power increase from that.
