4 wheel low?
4 wheel low 3rd gear launch on dirt why would everything give up it felt like the truck was coasting.I rolled to a stop put it in 2wheel drive 3rd gear again truck lunched great with no problems. Is there something in the transfer case like a safe switch that kicks it out when you over rev it

its electric,I am trying to figure out what gear to use for sled pulling.some say 3 low, some say 2 high.my first pull will be next month just trying to find out what gear to use.only thing i can figure is there must be some sensor that calls for the transfer case to kick out upon higher revs.if anyone knows if this is correct or is there another problem.

just found out from dealer that it does have a speed limiter in the transfer case that causes this problem.I guess ill try 4 hi 2 gear. only thing is some say you can break stuff in high range.Or maybe that was duramax guys saying their stuff breaks in 4hi.

Ask that dealer where the speed limiter is. I have the same t-case and have never had a problem. I think they looked up the wrong vehicle.
