4.5 Injectors

Anybody using F1 4.5 in their trucks? I'm waiting on a set, just curious what kind of results people are seeing with them. I haven't heard of many people using them. Thanks guys!

That is a big injector designed for competition I have never heard of anybody running them on the street. You are running twins right? my 3.5 have a haze on the interstate with my big single

No twins, just a SPS 66. Still looking for a bigger single charger.

justin did you paint your wheels or take the simulators off? adds some new looks to it. you will need dual pumps to support those. im running out of fuel without injectors. im pretty sure you said you had the dual cp3s coming. if you get an aurora 5k or a big garrett your truck should pull very strong

I recommend staying with a 3.5 or less for daily driving, even more so with a big single. Bigger fluxs will smoke alot in hot weather and will drop your economy. I have run 5.1s on the street but daily drive my 3.3s. You will need dual pumps with 3.8s or bigger. Tim

You may be a bit smokey for daily driving with a big single, and as stated twin pumps will be a must. My 3.5s work my floor it stage 2 pretty hard, and my next mod will be dual pumps.

He has the cp3 kit ordered just not arrived yet. I don't think he's really worried about daily driving anymore...

Yes, i have duel pumps in the works, no, i don't care about smoke or economy, and a little nitrous is on tap. What kind of fuel pressure do i need to supply to the duel pumps?
Thanks for all the advice!

Just removed the simulators to look at it, i kinda like it though!

i dont know where pourindiesel is but he needs to chime in here, his dual pumps seem to be running good. I think he broke the main shaft in his tranny at daleville, maybe he is busy working on that

Justin, 15psi +/- is fine for the dual pump setup. I think mine when warm is around 13-14psi from the fass system. Seems to run great.
Eventually I'll probably install a larger pickup in the tank and some 1/2" fuel lines but that will probably winter before that gets done.

Jesse,
I probably wont tackle the 6 speed until Friday or so. Prewitt has my tranny jack at the moment and pulled his 5600 out tonight and should have his new shaft in by Thursday or so and hopefully installed. I think his next pull will be Tampico.
I hope to be up and running by Friday night for Hazelwood....we shall see!

Right now my dually is also taken apart getting some new U joints on the rear shaft.....
