4:10 to 3:55 swap questions
I am wanting to swap gears from 4:10 to 3:55 to hopefully gain mpg and speed. I need to know what is needed in this swap. Do just need a ring and pinion? or do i need a carrier as well? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Carrier split on the D80 is at the 3.73/4.10 mark, so you will need a carrier for the rear. D60 split is 4.10/4.56, so if a 4by, the front should be good.
