3rd Gen ISB 235 California truck
Why does my California emissions truck only make 235 horse and 460 ft/lbs? Is it as simple as the software? I took the cat off and put on a CAI, but with marginable improvement in performance. I just want to know why my truck gets crappy fuel economy and makes so much less power than a truck built in the same plant in the same year intended for any other state in the union, and what I can do to fix it. Any direction or information is appreciated.

It's just like mine and you are runnin the same tires and rim size I'm wantin. I'd like to see what they are gonna look like.

the data plate on the valve cover showed that it is only rated for 235 horsepower, the truck is from california, its a common rail, and has nv4500. also I had the the dealership print a build sheet for me.
