Where can you get that 3M clear film that protect the paint from rocks and shoe traffic? I went to Home Depot and they did not know what I was talking about. I appreciate any help.

A rock chip is much more noticeable. Had it done on the wife's new ride a month ago. Now I don't even know it's there and her rig is the maroon color (forgot what color it actually is).

Here's the 3M link:

I've seen it installed on the Hondas we sell, and it looks best left to the professional IMHO. We farm it out to a place called Clear Solutions from St Louis. They have what looks like a large print plotter that cuts out the correct size pieces for each model Honda.
Its applied similar to the technique used for window tinting. It normally takes our guy 2 hours to do the four to five pieces that the front of each vehicle takes...and he's had lots of practice.
There are other brands besides 3M, but these folks swear buy it.

got my kit here. works great! can't even tell it's on the truck. they sell 3M and their own brand. you can install yourself, or they will put you in touch with a certified local installer. believe me, it's worth paying someone to do it. i did the headlight, fog light, and dually fender kits. took the guy a couple hours to do.
