so im at that point, my stock LP is kicking the bucket i fear. and of course ive heard all the horror stories of people having to keep spares in their box just incase the replacement goes out. and about the horrors of electrical fuel pumps going out, having to streach springs, holly pumps not specified for diesel use. a few months back i found the GDP 392, but when i went back, i notice the BOSS system.

for those not famalier with the BOSS it is a mechanical lift pump that runs off the crank. im not sure how close this is to the 12v p7100 but its a mech pump nonetheless. yup, its a bit pricey at ~$600 but im thinking it may well just be worth the extra $200 over the 392. if for nothign else but peace of mind. i WILL not go back to the OEM style pumps wheather carter or campain.

thoughts?

ill probably never even tap the potential of an upgraded fuel system. maybe some sticks, a turbo, and smarty and im done. id rather have it built to the hilt and not strain.

Is Boss simular to the mitusa or rasp pump?
Go mechanical and be done with it.

I ram running a 392 but I built it so it was only 325 bones instead of the 400. works great , extremely qiet could not be happier

i think its more similar to the mitusa pump. i did some reading on here about it but it hasnt gotten much discussion since very few people have found it yet. thats why i figured id throw it out there to maybe get some peoples attention and get the word out. like i said in my original post, i found it by chance going back to look at the 392 and there it was.

well, i guess when the time comes, out comes the plastic!
