38.5" tires. Do I need a larger lift?

I have the skyjacker 4.5" lift thats more or less 6" of lift. I have run 38.8x11x16's on the stock wheels and they fit just fine no rubbing. I want to run procomp xtreme AT 38.5x14.5x17 on H2 wheels. The actual width i think is 15.1 according to procomps website but dosent say on what wheel. Does anyone think this will fit? And if not will a 7" skyjacker type lift work? I'm thinking DC long arms, more rear blocks (im cheap and allready paid for the full skyjacker leaf packs once) and coils from some where. I can thandel the red ones for SJ and not paying to have there powder coat burned off and re done in black again.

Thanks all.

I got 38x15.50 on 16.5 wheels with the skyjacker 4.5 and a 2 inch body lift. No rubbing, but without the body lift I would be in trouble.

Sounds like I need the 7" lift then.

That is what it sounds like, but I also have fender flares that is where the tires would rub on mine. If you don't have flares, try to find someone in your area with that size tires to see if they fit. Good Luck!

Thats what I was hopeing to do but I doubt ill find anyone with a tire that size on the correct backspace wheel. Aftermarket wheels seem to stick out much farther then stock or H2 wheels.

You might end up rubbing your control arms at full turn with a tire that wide and not having much back spacing on the wheels.

if I put in 2" spacers on top of my coils, do you think I'd need longer controll arms?
