37 Toyo Mt's or 37 ProComp XTAT???
I can't decide on tires. I recently purchased a 6 inch, and would like to put on 37's. I have been looking, and have narrowed it down pretty much to the ProComp Xterrain AT's, but recently have read some good things on the Toyo MT's (will be using a 17 inch rim). I read about DW with some people with the BFG's, thought possibly to be cause by them being load range D. Well the ProComps are load range D as well, but seem to be on the heavier load capacity side on spec sheets.
I know the Toyos are probably the best tire, but they are wider and more expensive, and do not want to sacrifice any more MPG, or thin out my bank account!
Basically does anyone have any input on the ProComps, or are the Toyo's head over heals a much better tire?
Thanks for the help!

You will either pay now or pay later as far as mileage and a aggressive tread there is not a tire better than toyos. I hate to admit it I have tried to find a different tire because everyone around runs toyos but I folded and have a set on order and technically with getting more miles out of them they are cheaper in the long run.

XAT all the way...I have never driven a better tire.
Will last 50k plus if rotated...
The most quiet AT or MT ever...
Great streat manners/traction and offroads with the best of them...
Great load ratings...

toyos here. that is my next set. had Pro Comp (vibration issues), not with Super Swamper Iroks (not too bad for a 39.5" tire) but 40" toyos next.

You must of had one of the few bad sets...my first pair were like that...and they fully waranteed them after a 6 months of trying to balance them out. I have had two sets of 37's and 1 set of 35's....since on two trucks...my friend has had 1 set of 35's and thay all have been PERFECT!

4 wheel parts kept telling me it was the height of the tires and refused to warranty them. they were on the truck from day 1 (15 miles on the truck). I spent more time in the shop balancing them and just put a bad taste in my mouth. However, I did have 45k miles on them before I removed and now my buddy is running them on is Ford til his toyos show up.

4 Wheel Parts stinks sometimes...they tried to pull that with me once when I had a "belt seperation" causing tire pull.
I would look local for a tire guy that is a Cooper dealer and have them try...ussually they match 4 wheel parts prices and the mounting and balancing can be free or negotiated.
I have paid as low as 970 for 35x13.5 to 1200ish for 37x13.5.

Toyo. Never thought I would leave BFG but after 5 trucks(one..cough...Ford..cough) with 800K+ miles in 12 years I have had em all and on these heavy trucks, these 10 ply toyo's are quiet, have GREAT wet traction even for a mt or at for that matter and you can air em way up for mileage and tire wear or way down (likw 10 psi) for some crwlin...good luck
