I am curious to see what you all think of these tires if you are running this size, a buddy of mine has them but he likes to power brake and smoke the tires all the time so I do not know how they are holding up under some what normal driving conditions. Thanks, Mike

Good question...I was looking at these tires in the 33" variety, but if the 35's will fit with just a leveling kit, I may go for them.

I have a buddy w/ them on his Bronco bush-buggy. He love his, he's a big off-roader and says they are the best M/T for the money. He's got about 20000 on his set and he gestimates he's lost about 1/2 his tread. So if his rig is any example, look at a life expectancy of 40,000 mi. Not bad for the soft rubber compound. I think I'll get some this next summer, but I'll get the 33's. FWIW-Steve
PS-Most of his miles are highway. Not much humming on the pavement compared to others, ie.. BFG M/T

They do hold up well on lighter vehicles but on our trucks they tank pretty quick...
I wouldn't expect too much over 20,000 miles on a CTD

I wonder how they would compare to the BFG's or MTR's, although the MTR's do have a very soft compound and both of these are a 8 ply and the TRXUS is a 10 ply. Another tire that I have been looking at is a Parnelli Jones Dirt Grip MT and it is also a 10 ply and a great looking tire, but very expensive.

I run the PJ's on my 01 and also on my daughter's tahoe... nothing bad to say at all and they are holding up very well.
Also of note... when it rains they are not like driving on ice like so many other aggresive tires.

I was thinking of getting the TRXUS as well - until I read the posts on here - most say they dont hold up at all to the CTD even thought they are 10 ply.....from what Ive read BFG's seem to be real good.....The PJ's are great if u dont mind spending that much.
I have the BFG MT's I got them slightley used but happy with them so far. They do well in the mud not bad on the road. I have had much worse. The Good Year MTR's are quiter but not as good in the mud. I have them on another truck. I will probabley go whith the PJ's if I can find them when it is time to change.
