3500 fenders

a buddy at work has a 96 3500 & wants a single rear wheel, if he takes the rear fenders off is the box the same as a 2500 or will the fender cutouts be different?

The boxes are different.The factory takes a standard 2500 box and cuts a big portion of the sheet metal above the wheel.The rear fenders go over top whichs covers that cutout...

Sheeeet that sucks. So he needs a 2500 box, oh well.

Yes its to bad....you could use a 2500 on the dually but dodge sure cuts a big hole on the 3500 dually boxes...
