Im going to be helping a buddy out and delivering said engine to a mine he works at. he told me it weighs about 2500, sounds a little light, just want to make sure before i drive from anchoragua to coldfoot. any insight would be appreciated, as google search came up with very little.

All depending what is bolted to the engine. A bare back 3406 weighs in right about that maybe a tad more.

no,my buddy couldn't get a hold of the guy. we are still going to try for a few weeks out. need the frost heaves to get a bit worse on the haul road first.
