3200 help

i did the 3200 spring in my brothers truck and now i cant get it to run right i index it back to 2 below 2 above and moved it cw and ccw and still cant get it to really run right i had to turn the full power screw in more to get it to idle and if you floor it iit acts likes its going to die and smokes white

It's too loose. Turn the shaft to the left relative to the arm.

now it acts like its runnin out of diesel as soon as you floor it it dies down and after that it will barely move forward

ha i got it i just advanced the timing as far as it would go it runs better then ever

DId you take the pump off the engine to do the spring swap? Just curious how advancing the timing would help, unless you had it on the low end of the spectrum upon reinstall.

no i didnt take the pump off i dont know how it fixed it but it did

I agree. my truck had the same symptoms his did a couple of times but it had nothing to do with the gov spring.

ya i dont know all i know is after i advanced the pump it ran like it was suppose to
