Will 315's clear wheel well liners?

The 315 vs. 285 debate is raging in my head, looks vs. what I know is best for me and the truck. I thought I read somewhere that the 315's will rub the rear wheel well liners I had to install because of Dodge's penny-pinching. Any truth to that?

I've got 35/12.50x17 Xts and they arent even close to rubbing. I have a 315 for a spare and its just a hair smaller than my 35s so I think you'll be ok.

But are you running stock backspacing on your aftermarket wheels?

You'll be fine. I ran 315 bfg's and only rubbed on the track bar!

I'm running the BFG 315's on H2 wheels, no rubbing anywhere. Your sig does not say 2x4 or 4x4, that might make a difference, someone with a 2x4 will respond I'm sure.

I ran 315s with my wheel well liners for 55,000 miles. Plenty of room between tire and wheel well liner.

The 35s that were on the truck I just bought only rubbed the control arm on tight turns. You learn pretty quick to avoid needing to turn that tight, especially off camber. This was on stock wheels on an 05 2500 4x4. Also, that truck has rear wheel well liners and they did not rub at all.

And all the people laying claims to no serious rubbing issues are running theres WITHOUT a leveling kit, right? If so, that makes me happy! Toyo M/Ts look pretty good on the stock wheels, I think!

The question was about rubbing in the REAR wheel wells. I definitely had no issues in the rear. I did have a leveling kit for the front and did not have any issues in the front with the leveling kit.

Mine did not have any lift, but it wouldn't have helped anyway. They rubbed on the 05 control arms and the 04 control arms when turned hard. Aftermarket wheels with different backspacing would solve that, or just learn to drive accordingly.

Thanks for the replies. I'm leaning toward the 35's, just wanted to clear-up any disqualifiers.
