300-400hp With Twins/ Single ????
Hey Guys , I Am Running A 12v 1995 , I Have A Set Of 370's And 0 Plate 3000rpm Spring . I Know That The Stock Turbo Is Not Enough Air For It , As I Want To Pull My Rv Trailer . So I Was Thinking Twins , But Do I Need Them , Or Should I Just Go With A Bigger Single Turbo , ??????
And What Should I Use For Turbo /turbo's .

I think you'd probably be happy with the turbo I have in my sig. Phat shaft 62.
Spool is decent and it cools egt's with out any trouble.
Go to some 4 inch exhaust if you haven't done so already.

If youre only looking at 300-400 hp, I would look at a hx35/40 hybrid with a 14cm housing. Its cheaper with better spool but getting close to 400hp might get a little warm. bump your timing so you can really use the 3k gsk and injectors.

I REALLY liked my 62/65/14 when I was pulling my 8k camper around. My family and I go all over the USA.
I think if your going to do a 57/65/14, I personally would just go to the 62/65/14 or 12. If you have the extra coin you can get the 13cm Stainless Steel turbine housing.
You can also do one of these.

Only downside is they have a tendency to break shafts if they are fueled to hard and you bark them alot.
It will put you over 400 with either.

Exactly the right question!
'Winkdemon' - Take all responses from manual trans members with a grain of salt.
Larger turbo lag is much more irritating (and smokey) with an automatic because you don't have the luxury of winding out the gears to keep the turbo spooled.
Twins are a dream to drive... if doable.
If not...stay on the small side of "bigger turbo". I would definately avoid 14 cm2 turbine housings.
Live with slightly higher egt's and enjoy your towing more.
I agree with 'Tate'.... check into the BD SuperB! Best of the 400+/- hp turbos, IMO.
