3 way TC lock up switch?

I saw a 94 auto with a three way lock up switch installed, he had the ability to let the trans function normally, lock up on command and remain unlocked completely! How do I do this?? I have the regular lock up switch, but I would love to be able to keep it unlocked sometimes! Any info would be great, thanks.

That would be a three position toggle. On/off/on. Center would be lock up off, up and down would be manual control or auto. Whstevder u decide. In 96 they went to the re which is the 8 wire electronic trans. The be tow lock does not apply to the 47rh 94-95 yrs.

I'd do the regular on/off switch. The three way is possible but not very practical imo.

But the 47RE does that for you! No OD and no converter lockup below certain fluid temp.
Plus... not a big concern down here!
Sorry, guess this thread started out about earlier RH models. My mistake.

The reason I was looking into this was to help with building some boost around town, when the trans is always locked at 50kmph it's hard to accelerate without smoking people out. If you could keep it unlocked, the revs would come up faster with less smoke.
