2wd front end lift
has anyone lifted the front end of a 2nd gen 2wd? what does it ride/look like? are you happy? How much did you lift? where did you get it? I found a kit at Jackit.com for 80.00 sound like a good idea?
thanks

Your pretty limited on 2wd lifts, IIRC 2" coil spacers would be the MAX , anything over that and the upper control arm is not long enough , and nothing is available in the aftermarket. If you want to level the truck , slam the rear end down a couple inches.

Pics in my gallery are 1.75" all the way around. Almost level...I like the looks, rides like factory, and makes people look twice thinking it's 4wd
I tried 2.5" up front...upper control arms hit the bump stop mount. Went down to ~1.75" and it's perfect. No alignment issues, and for the last 60K miles or so, no unusual tire wear. That started about 5K ago
