He might have been going as fast as he usually does.

The truck in the other lane fogged the starting beams pretty good, might have messed up the ET.

Owen modded VP? Is that the "Monster VP" that people are talking about in the Performance section? Really awesome time, what kind of dyno #'s is he putting down?

he was running an 80/88 mm twins setup and they couldn't get them to spool on the dyno and still laid down over 650hp

So is this Owen modded VP the Monster VP that everyone is talking about in the performance section? That is pretty crazy 80mm/88mm, and you said he drove it there 14 hours? I have never heard of a truck that had streetable twins that big, only thing I can think to use that big of setup would be a dedicated puller or drag racer. So that is pretty cool if he is able to drive it on the street, Jim Fulmer runs a 66mm and Big Brother setup and is well over 800rwhp. I think some more info is needed! lol

Under 11.0 don't you have to run a roll cage and a bunch of safety equipment?

I think he meant to say, own modded VP, not owen. As in he modified it himself on his own.

sorry "own" is what i ment and from what i've been hearing it is "one" of the monsters that have been talked about. he said he has a few out "beta testing" and he is making stage 2 like what he is running and a stage 3. a guy up here in NH has a stage 3 but his little 62 turbo dosen't like it. as far as the cage i know he wasn't allowed back @ new england dragway with out one.

At our local track... I ran 11.98 in a small block street legal Dodge pick-up one night... The track guy on the return road stopped me and said slow it down to 12.0 or park it. I said fine.... So I put it in the pits and opened my cooler. Who cares if I got scolded... I had my time slip showing 11.98 on a street legal pick-up truck!!!..hahaha
