2nd gen body lift

so over the weekend i put a body lift on my diesel even though it said it was not compatible, there were only a few modifications i had to make, the inter cooler tube going from the intercooler to the intake manifold needed to be cut, ive heard people say it needs to be cut around 2" or so but i cut in front of the last ridge so i could utilize it to keep the boot on from boost. the other modification i had to do was the fanshroud, the brackts they come with for the radiator work on it jst like a gas engine but you have to break off the bottom two tabs for mounting the shroud,

has any one had any problems with their airbag light after doing a body lift?, i pulled the fuses while doing the lift and the light stays on on my dash, if i have the code reset will it go away?

oh, i have a question for anyone else who has done a body lift, is your shifter positions screwed up on the dash, when im in drive it shows im in neutral, but i can shift through every gear fine, im not to worried about it but if anyone else drives my truck they might be confused, thx for any replies and i hope this encourages others to do a body lift as well!!!!!!!

Every body lift I have installed on an automatic required the shift rod from tranny to indicator have a short extension welded in to correct the indicator.

No idea then, maybe adjust where the actuator arm is on the shift lever of the tranny? No idea, sorry.

I think you should be able to adjust it down by the tranny.
