Is anyone running this size tire on stock suspension with aftermarket wheels. I have a friend that has a 06 stock 4x4 with 17x8 aftermarket wheels that have a 5.3" backspacing. He is trying to figure out if 295/70r17's will fit without rubbing. I know that they will fit with stock wheels, but not sure about with the aftermarket wheels which are about an inch further out.

I run the Toyo 295's. I have stock rims and they rub just a bit when I turn hard. If I took off my mud flaps they would not rub at all. Hope this helps

I have 17"x 9" wheels that stick out 1" from factory running 295/70/17 with no rubbing.
