275 injectors from Pensacola Diesel

Pensacola's 275's seem to be the cheapest around, and I like the idea of no core charge. My questions are, are they a desent injector? and, do their injectors come with all the needed o-rings and compression washers?
Oh, also, do I need to replace the crossover tubes when changing injectors, or can they be used more than once? I've heard of some of the earlier ones cracking.

Big Blue24 said he's ran them before and really liked them. Said they were a good bang for the buck. Maybe he'll pipe in here after bit. No, you don't have to change the crossover tubes.

Great injector for the money! Mine arrived in new condition, with new orings and copper washers. When I upgraded, I sold my used ones on ebay for a few dollar profit, can't beat that deal anywhere!

Are they the ones listed for $279 on their site? Garrett has them listed on his site for $275, might be able to talk him down a couple bucks more even.

Or buy them from ebay for less than 260 shipped! Best deal anywhere, and that deal has been going for over a year now, Pensicola just doesn't market their stuff very well in my opinion.

What was your reason for going with the 275"s? I seen Jammer Stage 1 nozzels for $160-$170. They are rated at 50hp. Aren't the 275's 40-50hp?

275's are more like 30-40 at best!

I originally wanted new injector bodies with new springs to put some jammer nozzles on. Then I was gonna have them pop tested and all said and done, be ahead of the $500 dollar complete new jammer injector price. After talking to a few shops, they said new springs will change and even if they set pressure perfect, it will not last as long as 200K mile injector springs that are worn in, even if they needed to be shimmed, etc. After thinking about that, and the fact that 200K miles worth of fuel might have "honed" the internals of the stock bodies, i decided to use my stock bodies. I also figured, why ruin a perfect set of 275 injectors so I sold them and made a small profit.

So then, do you think that going with the stock bodies and Stage 1 50hp nozzels would be better money spent than 275's?

I think that the Pensicola injectors are better deal since they are complete, no need to pop test, and will idle great. If you do tips, you could end up lucky with no pop test and have 50 HP, but you may not. Also don't forget about your left over stock injectors, they are worth money.

If I were you, i'd buy the Pensicola units, install them and keep your stockers incase you want more power. If you want more, find a deal on Jammer 3's or 4's or 5's, install on stock bodies and sell the Pensicola ones. If you love the new found power with the Pensicola injectors, just leave your truck how it is, sell your stockers for 75 bucks and be all the merrier.

Also remember that Jammers rarely perform up to the rated HP. I think Jammer 1's will net the same power as Pensicola 275's. On your truck, being an HO with smaller injectors to begin with, both will net you 40 HP or so. Add that XZT first, much easier to install than injectors. Unless money is your constraint, then do what you can afford. After an XZT+, you might want no more, or you might want tons more.

So which one's are the 275's? Why are pensacola's higher power injectors 30 bucks cheaper?

Thanks Blue, my limiting factor is funds. I'm adding the xzt+ and maybe the 275's because I don't want to go too high and have to change my clutch.
