2500 4X4 single wheel rear brakes, pull axle?
I'm in the process of replacing my rear rotors and pads (looks like I'll also need a caliper) and I'm having a hell of a time trying to remove the rotors.
Do I need to pull the axle on a single wheel truck to get the rotors off?
If so, what seals, gaskets will I need to replace before I can reinstall everything?

On the single rear wheel it should come off just like the front. Remove the brake caliper and the rotor should slide off. You only have to remove the axle shaft if it is a dual rear wheel axle.

Replaced 1 of my front rotors today.. It was a pain to get it off.. I used a large hammer & hit it several times on the back side while rotating it... The rust was holding it in place

I finally managed to get these off using very little hammering.
After the first round of hammering went nowhere I was looking things over while I took a break and decided pushing them from the rotors from the rear would be my best bet.
Several failed ideas later, I finally came across something that worked with a relatively small amount of force required on my part.
My solution? 12 Ton bottle jack between the shock mount bracket and the back of the rotor.
I didn't see it suggested in the forums, so hopefully if anyone comes across this post I'll save you some time and LOTS of hammering.
Looks like after all is said and done I'm also going to have to replace the calipers. I can't believe how bad the rear brakes were...it's a miracle the truck was stopping as "well" as it did if at all.
