will 24V 150hp edge injectors fit on my 12V?

I have a stock '96 12V and could use some more power when towing a 23ft enclosed. I have a line on some 150hp edge injectors for $200 and am wondering if this will boost my power some without having to adjust anything or do any additional mods. Is that even a good deal for those injectors?

What think the collective?

I don't think 24V injectors work on a 12V unless ya get em reworked. But, I could be wrong.

comparing pics of the two injectors, I'd say there was no way they would fit, do a search as there are "free" ways of tweaking your pump that will boost power and mileage,

Not a chance - fuel enters the side on the 24 v units and into the top on the 12 v
The method of hold down into the cylinder head is completely different as well.

24 v upper body is much larger in diameter.

No.

#1. 24valve are side feed injectors through a connector tube. 12valves are top feed and the injector line is threaded onto the injector body.

#2. 24 valve injectors are vertically oriented and inject fuel directly into the centered bore of the piston. 12 valve injectors are canted and inject fuel into an offset bowl... the holes in the injectors are oriented much different.

Everyone is so negative. Get a big enough hammer and drift, and you can fit a 24v injector in the 12v head. Getting it to seal up and no fuel leaks will be the tricky part though.

make sure to use a brass drift, otherwise you might damage the injector

Tate - If i did not know you were a cannuk i would have thought by that post you were a liberal dummocrap.

What has your winter weather been like up there this year ?

Any new additions on those 2 global warming machines you are driving ?

Very true. Aluminum is also acceptable, since brass chips, and you don't want chips in your fuel system.

Bob, got a recammed pump and a camshaft waiting for the 24v. Hopefully get past the 650 mark with that setup. Nothing new for the 12v, just the twins that I have had for 2 years and not installed.
