2010 and newer issues?

Ive been reading the forums here for a few days now and see the huge issues with the lost mileage and soot build up in the motors on the Dodge,

The question is, are these problems affecting all diesel products, ford and chev/gm as well? or is it just a problem with doges method of eliminating emissions??

Not sure about the other brands but the 4th gens (2010 +) really aren't that bad if you drive them like they were meant to be driven. They just aren't intended to be grocery-getters. Also, you always have the option of deleting the problem, but put your powertrain warranty at risk by doing so.

You might get more responses under the 4th gen forum. Not sure how many of them check for posts in the general forum.
