Do you want some help or just bash your truck?

I work in a shop that services New Holland Tractors. They use a bunch of different diesels including common rail Cummins. I heard a Ford diesel (Perkins) backfire the other day after the mechanic missed the timing mark on a IP replacement. Scared the you know what out of me. Very rare, but it can happen.

Well, if he/she owns an '08 CTD that backfires, he/she ain't no troll. Some folks don't monitor DTR like some of us do, so give 'em a day or 2 before you go nuclear on 'em. Heck, sometimes I go a whole hour without checking DTR.
