2006 #4 injection line
OK...
We run 5 06' Dodge trucks and three have blown the number 4 injection lines. Now Im pulling parts off my truck to keep the others going.
Does anyone know where I can order this injector line and possibly get it shipped overnight to me?
Cummins is backordered for a week ( I have three ordered) and I need one in the next couple days.

Are the replacements the same quality as the original lines? I ordered one last week that comes in in the next couple of days but I think the cummins ship I ordered from is getting from the manufacturer?

My friend just replaced his last week and he said the color was different.I don't know if that means they are using a different metal or if its from not having any heat cycles on it.I still wonder why this seems to be more of an 06 problem? Not that it hasn't happened on other year models but it sure seems to be the 06's posting it up on the forums

The one I received was a used / new replacement....the one we took off the truck was about 2 months old....it had a pin hole leak in it. They are a different color.. More silver looking as well as the fittings. I wish I had my original back....you know the trust thing.
The Cummins guru told me that the original maker could not keep up so they outsourced another company and they are having a time keeping up as well...hince the differnt color I'd imagine. Oh well... I just hope it stays together at 26.5!

I ordered one that comes in in the next few days but if its not any better than the original why do people replace them? Perhaps waiting till you get like 50k miles on the motor then change it? Or should you just let it blow?
