Never heard of one. Some have made them @ home. Plexiglass and wire ties and attach it to the radiator would do the trick. I have the fabric one from Mopar. FYI.

In looking for accessories for my '07 on order, I have found alot of sites haven't been updated to that point or '06 for that matter. Put it this way, if it'll fit an '05 (depending on what of course) body (like the grill), it'll fit an '06 - the grill dimensions never changed.

Well, I had the first '98 built for the Canadian market. I know what it's like. I heard alot of "What do you mean for a '98, they're not even being built yet." OR "We have no information on your year of truck."

Comment: "Well I have one...see, parked right there."

The guys working in the accessory shops are a bit brain damaged sometimes....too many drugs I think - kind of like using 3" self tapping bolts to install mud flaps - seen it - so I try to do my own as much as possible.

These guys make better ones than Lund IMHO - had the smoked Lund stuff on my '98 - they were OK, but nothing for me to recommend them:http://www.milron.com/index.php?area...le_id=9&LIMIT=
They don't show any on their website, but they have them instore along with aux. fuel tanks and a miriad of other products.

I would not use the Mopar one that comes from the factory. It covers up "too" much of the front of the radiator. It will cause higher tranny temps if you have an auto trans. It would work well with the 6 speed. The only other thing I hurd about the winter front cover is does cause wisling and a diff wind noises. T cut a peice of card board with a hole in the middle of it. It seems to work just fine with alot less cost involved. I do like the plexy glass idea though. I also painted my peice of card board black so you can't even tell it's there.

I bought these from the dealership although they're not MOPAR (made by a company called "GRILZ"), Temp's are all good and no whistling or wind noise...I only wish i bought them in Black...any1 wanna trade

When it gets cold you put them on to keep the cold air off the rad etc, it helps keep the truck running at op temps, I don't run them when towing in the hot weather (<5 min's to remove), allot of people up here just remove the 2 uppers in the summer.

The tires are D rated (got them off a PowerWagon) but have a higher weight rating than the stock MTX's if that makes sense, I did hear they are now available in an E rated 10 ply, maybe the next set...

They are a great fit and finnish, They come either slotted (As pictured) or solid construction, I paid about $100 for the SS uppers and lower, I only wish they came ano'd black,...too much bling on the front of my truck IMO, I may have to paint them...

I disagree I have used the Mopar winterfront going on three years now with the auto tranny and have Never had high tranny temps(I have a tranny gauge) running the Mopar winterfront.I have never had any wind noise related to the winterfront either.There are four flaps on the mopar winterfront that you can open one at a time or have all four opened.Plus it mounts underneath the hood to keep the thieves away.coobie
