2003 rebates

I'm in the market for an 03 HO crew cab short box 2500, but i understand the $2,500 rebate goes away next week. That does not give me enough time to shop (unless someone knows of one).

Does anyone know if they will continue past the 2nd of September??? All the dealers say they don't know.

I DON'T want to start looking at Ford 6.0L, but their rebate continues till the end of September.

someone help me out here....

Thanks

Ron W.

Re:2003 rebates

I was at a dealer last night and they were taking almost $10,000 of the sticker prices on 2003 models. If it wasn't for my closing on a new house in about 2 weeks, I think there would be a new rig outside for me to drool over.

Sorry that doesn't go to your question. They were willing to do a locate and possible swap with other dealers to get what I wanted. Might try that as an option. It is also the end of the month and 2004's are rolling in any day, I'm sure they will be willing to work with you.

Daren,

Where is that dealer located?, I have a trade in that I could drive to a dealer on the East Coast

Re:2003 rebates

I wouldn't worry to much about the rebate ending after tomorrow. Dodge will have to bring it back same, better or will have to give dealers incentive dollars for them to reduce/sell off their '03 stock. Why do I say this?? I say it because if other manufacturers have rebates, they rest follow and the 2nd whammy right now is that the '04 are appearing on lots so they gotta get rid of the '03s.

Re:2003 rebates

Go to a local dealer and tell them to do a locate. Make it like you're going to have them buy it from that other dealership but don't even bother with that crap. Ask them where the truck is and call that dealership directly. You should be able to pay INVOICE - rebates. Get a $300 business rebate or $500 farm bureau rebate. My truck came out to $2800 under invoice which was about $7000 under MSRP. I flew to TX on a Saturday morning and was back in NJ on Sunday night (NJ) for work on Monday... awesome trip. Don't forget to bring a CB
