2002 Dodge Ram

Hey,

I was looking around on cars.com for some trucks and I came across one which I think is ridiculous. This person has the most ridiculous price, check out the link. Can anyone see why this person put the price so high? I KBB(Kelly Blue Book) it and it came out to around 19,300. No performance items were listed. It looks nice and stuff but I still don't think it should cost 26 g's.

The only reason I would see putting an 02 with no mods for that amount is simply the low miles. But it makes you wonder why the prior owner got rid of it in the first place.

Most likely a Lease, and he traded up for an '05.

I'd have to get at least that out of mine, if I sold it.

I have a few modifications though.

Back in march when i was looking i saw several 00/01 models 4x4 shortbeds, some quad cab some not, going for about $21k. They had anywhere from 120-190,000 miles.

A 60,000 mile 4x4 quad cab longebed that is in excellent condition is worth 27,000 imo.

It must depend on what part of the country you're in. In CO that's about 2-3 grand high. I got mine with 78K miles, basically mint with a topper for $20K.
