Question 2002 Dodge 2500 performance Mod Questions

Hey all,
I have a 2002 2500 quad cab 4x4 with an automatic, right now it is currently stock and I am thinking about putting the following mods on the truck;

Ice box intake
Amsoil BAHF
CFM Intake
MBRP 4 in. Exhaust stainless
and an Edge Juice with Attitude

does this sound like a good package to increase power and mileage? Any suggestions, deletions, additions, transmission upgrades?
Thanks i just joined the site and love it.

Looks like you have a good list there.

You will want some tranny upgrades. Like a valve body and a Torque convertor.

Along with some supporting fuel mods.

to fully support it look at www.vulcanperformance.com for fuel system. A glacier system will take care of you.

Depending on the condition of your tranny now. You may need a full rebuild and A good TQ conv. and VB.

What is your overall goal for the truck. What do you use it for?

For fuel----I would look into an Airdog. They are a great product and are on sale right now. Stuart

I drive it around town and some long distance highway driving, right now no towing but i want to be able to, i drive in the colorado mountains a lot to go snowboarding too. Thats what i use it for the over all goals of the truck would be to increase mileage and driveability, i dont want to race it ever but would like to smoke some punk in a rice burner if needed

All the above mods will work well. Look at a Double deep tranny pan also for all the mountian driving you do.

A fuel pump w/ relocation kit at a minimum. Do a search of this forum for fuel systems and you'll have hours of reading.

Depends on the rice burner. An Edge J/A will help but to be fast you are looking at Turbo upgrades, head studs, fully billet tranny etc etc.

I'd save the money on the SS exhaust until your up around 450hp. Just delete the muffler for now if you want the big rig sound. Been there done that. Put that extra money into a rock solid fuel sytem for now.

So just cut out the muffler? so the fuel system is more important than an exhaust? Sweet video by the way
