2001.5 Steering Box

Howdy!

I have some fluid leakage from my steering box. It appears that the leak may be coming from the plate on the topside (4 corner nuts and another nut in the middle).

Is there a replaceable gasket under this plate, and if so, is there anything I should be aware of? I don't have a diagram and would appreciate one if someone out there has one.

Ideas? Suggestions?

I had what I thought was a leak on my steering box too. It ended up being a oil leak from the vacuum pump that is above it. Check the shaft between the vacuum pump and the power steering pump for oil. If you find that it is dripping, the repair kit is less than $10.00.
