2 Ton Truck vs. Dodge Cummins
What, if any, differences are there be between the 5.9 195Hp Cummins in my '97 F800 two ton truck and the Dodge Cummins of the same vintage? I found out that the oil filters are the same. There is probably a different fly wheel set up. This is my first 12V and Its great sounding with that big exaust In fact, the exaust may be a Catylitic type because it says not to burn waste oil or it will damage it? Just curious about crossing performance parts between the two or is one stronger than the other?

As far as I know, they should be the same. Your F800 likely has different gearing on the tranny, maybe different fuel plate, but thats all i can think would be that much different..... Bill will know if he makes it over here....

I'm sorry I did not mean a different fuel pump all together. Of course it is still a P7100. I meant different in the same way a marine P pump is different than a on-road P pump or how a 160 P pump is different than a 215 P pump. There are more differences between those than just a fuel plate. I'm guessing the 195 pump being asked about has some of the same differences.
