2 questions about the front wheel...

Hey guys I have a 2003 new to me CTD. And I am noticing a couple things black dust on the front wheel. I figure it is brake dust but is this normal? It is very noticable in a week or so after washing the truck. I never noticed this with my 2003 Hemi with the chrome wheels.
And also I was going to rotate my tires the other day and I couldnt get either of the front wheels off. They are the alumnium wheels and they are stuck any ideas.
Thanks

Black dust is normal with my '03. Getting the wheels off can be a pain in the butt sometimes. You need to give them a good kick; or, I've read here that some folks recommend loosening the lugnuts a little and driving them back and forth to free the wheel(s). Obviously don't "drive" around like that, just enough to free them.

When you get thoses wheels off get some never seize and do the lug bolts and disc/inner rim contact face. I did that on my first rotation and alway use a torque wrench @135lbs. If you think the brake dust is excessive compared to a hemi don't forget your rig weighs a lot more. Hell if you ever get the chance try driving a first or second generation and stopping the same way as compared to a third gen or a gasser

The wheel sticking issue was a problem with the alloy wheels when they first came out with them. Get some Kleen wheels to stop the brake dust completely and they also sell little spacers that go behind the wheel to keep them from sticking. Apparently it's a big problem with many alloy wheels...
