1999 quad cab?

I have a 1999 dodge diesel 2500. It has the two rear doors that swing open torward the front like suicide doors. Is my truck a quad cab, extended cab or what?

Quad cab. Like mine. The rear doors open from front to back, right?

QC = Quad Cab. Extended cab was without the doors in the back.

yup, thanks. I wasn't sure if quad cab was the four door truck. I think that's a third gen thing.

A Club Cab was the extended cab version. I don't think Dodge ever had a second gen Extended cab.
Four normal doors would be a Crew cab

The Club cab option wasn't actually deleted from the option list until halfway through the 2000 model year but as you can imagine, during the 2.5 model years that it was offered with the Quad cab, it wasn't very popular so it will be somewhat rare to find one after the 97 model year.

I have actually seen one, a 98, new dash, and a club cab. Looked weird. It was a 1500, FWIW.

Here's a tip for a 99 owner. Get a 1/2 id rubber hose and push it onto the ac drain tube. You'll see a stub about 2" long sticking out on the firewall. Get a hose long enough to extend down a bit. Mine goes just below the frame rail. The drain tube has a flared type end on it so no clamp is needed.

I'm sayin this because if your ac isn't leaking under the carpet yet, it should soon. The seal around the penetration shrinks, the water follows the tube back to the firewall, and in time, your truck stinks inside and you need new carpet.
