1998 dodge ram hard to get into first gear truck standing still !!!
seems like clutch is not totally disengaging . is the slave cylinder bleedable ?
or other common faults ? clutch is new and trans was rebuilt when clutch installed .new synchros too !! if you push clutch hard to floor it usually acts normal but not always then you have to retry !! otherwise works fine and shifts and downshifts normally . any ideas ? common problems ? truck has nv4500 transmission.

What kind of clutch? I just installed a Southbend Con OFE. At first I could hardly get it in gear, especially reverse. As it is breaking in, it is getting better, but it still has a ways to go.
