1998 12V... Good Buy?

I was looking through the Autoseller up here and happened to come across this little item which would catch the eye of any hardcore CTD nut... a 98 12V. Now from the pics it looked good but up close I happened to notice a few odds and ends that could help me get the price down if I begged and pleaded enough I figure. Keep in mind as well that this truck was worked a bit but was fairly well taken care of. The boxliner would make a person puke I know but that can be fixed. I happened to see a leak of oil on the tranny and transfer case but I'm not too worried or concerned there. The paint in the odd places could be touched up but that's not too big of a deal and can be done overtime. The weather stripping along the windows is completely shot and the brakes are pretty much on the way out. Other than those little bits the engine 'looks' great, the interior is mint and it's an all around sharp looking truck. Anyhow I went and took some pictures... Take a look and give me your thoughts.

I suppose that's an ok deal. What's that price in American dollars...about $16k? I wouldn't be jumping up and down about that unless they went down a good bit in price, but maybe that's a good price for the area.

Keep in mind how close it is to your ideal truck...

I paid a little more than what most people would call a good deal for my truck, but I was thrilled because it was exactly what I wanted, down to the color...

If it is what you want (a 98 12 valve) it just might be worth a little more to you than it is to the next guy that could not tell you what a fuel plate is, or what to do with a star wheel...

Just my two cents.

What about the colour though? I think it looks pretty good with the chrome panels along the side and all but we also have to keep in mind it's baby blue. On top of that I dont think it would get a paintjob for a year or so, and even then I'm not a big person on colour change considering what the last guy did to my 93. Although on a positive note, it would look good hauling those PSD's behinds all over the parking lots

I personally like blue. My first CTD was blue, and my girlfriend's hemi 1500 is the same shade of blue.
