1995 Ram 3500 Brakes
I really need help on this one as i am stopped in my tracks.
I put on new shoes, cylinders, calipers and rotor pads. Turned drums and rotors. put all back together and bled brakes...very little pedal, just like it was before. Adjusted rear shoes...same thing. Push hard on pedal and it will slowly go to the floor.
Put on new master cylinder and bled the master etc and wheels. Now it has same problem except now when i have to pump the pedal more than once, the brake pedal gets very hard and high and it won't stop. (Just as if it had air in the line, but it doesn't).
Main two issues here are:
1)Why does pedal slowly go to the floor and
2)Why is the pedal so hard and brakes won't hold truck?
Has anyone else ever had this probelm and how did you solve it?
Thanks for you help and have a good weekend. Chuck

Pedal slowly creeping down indicates a leak somewhere. It could be internal in the master or ABS unit where no fluid escapes the system.
Hard brakes that don't stop sounds like your vacuum assist isn't doing it's job.
