I have been looking for the 8 to 10 lug adapter for a few weeks now, trying to find a lower price on these than what most are running. I have found pricing ranging from 600 up to 1200 for basically the same thing. Anyway, my question is this.... If they advertise the adapter for 22.5's and 24.5's would not 19.5" wheels fit on these adapters. I was under the assumption that the 19.5's (10 lug) and the 22.5's and the 24.5's were all the same.

Most companies that sell the 19.5s are direct bolt ons for these trucks. Did you want to pull some off a 2 1/2 ton truck and run them on your 1 ton?

But they also told me that the 22.5s dont effect ride quality or put any extra stress on tranny or ball joints Give be a break we all know they do seems like they just wanA move products. But I have never bought anything from them. Brentz wheels i was told makes a direct bolt on 22.5 but dont hold me to that.

Performance

There are some different bolt patterns in the Alcoa 19.5, 22.5, and 24.5 sizes. Yes, they do offer a bolt pattern in each size for the 10 lug adaptors. If you are looking at 19.5s, I would get a set to where I wouldn't have to use adaptors. Brentz Wheels, Rickson Wheels, and American Force (being the cheapest of the three) all make direct bolt on 19.5s. This would be the best option. But, if you are going to use some 10 lug 19.5s off of a 2 1/2 ton truck or something like that, you will just need to double check the bolt pattern on the wheels to the bolt pattern on the adaptors. There are different bolt patterns and you will need the correct one.

I was leaning towards the adapter so i could pick up some used 19.5's, then if I wanted to go 22.5's I could get some used ones of those. I have a buddy who will let me use his wheel polishing machine for the cost of materials. I would rather not pay MORE for the custom wheels and then have to buy custom again if one gets ruined or something.

A good old polishing wheel and a 4 inch grinder is a perfect cheap polisher used it on many things. works good

Eagle, budnick , weld and chip fooze and a few others make direct blot ons now. Im looking to run 285s on some 19.5s evryone sais there to heavy but then they say the 22.5s arent i dont get it??
