Ok...what is the highest recorded HP {diesel only} for a 180 auto pump...? ;)

I have the 180 pump with bigger injectors and a bigger camplate. I have dynoed as high as 390hp. I think I read that that was pushing it but I have no clue. Aaron

Cummnzpowr: At the 2001 "Scheid Diesel Extravaganza" I hit 508 H.P. on Scheids Mustang Dyno. My 96' Dodge CTD has the 180 pump which was "tuned" by Scheid Diesel. However, I believe there has been a few other Dodge CTD's with the "180 pumps" that have higher H.P. #'s than me now. Why would you modify a 180hp pump when you could trade it off and buy a 215 pump. They are the better ones right?

Didnt 95 with the 5 speed come with the 215 hp pump? if not, which truck(s) did?

Ok let me add something here, what is the highest H.P. with 12MM plungers and barrels. Jim Measured and verified by dyno runs on diesel fuel only is Joes truck at 633HP. All the Cummins Dodge pumps that are the P version have 12mm P And B assemblies. Don~

The ones that have been reworked with 13 and 14mm :o plungers and barrells. Yes there are a few out there. And they are on street driven trucks. They did not come stock tho. Moddified by Columbus diesel and Scheid Diesel. Yes Don you are right about the stock pumps tho. ;D J.R.

yeah, Piers uses the 13's I know Lawrence of DD has a 13MM P&B pump too. Now I want some 14's for mine Don~

We were talking about staying with the 12mm's on my pump(that was the price quote) as I want H.P. but not trying to max out like you'll but multi hole injectors sound cool for later on. Jim

Why mess around with the 6 cyl pump? Just go with the 12 cyl pump and over 2000 cc's. :o
