to 12v or not to 12v?

I am debating selling my truck and buying a 1996 2500 ext cab 12v 5 spd. All stock except the pump has been turned up and has a single stack and a bhaf wheels and tires. Charcoal grey in color good interior. 156,000 miles. Am I crazy? Or would this be a good change for me?

You are crazy The common rail pulls, rides, looks better than any 12valve. The p-pump is great but having electronis is a huge advantage. plus the common rails are stating to make huge power

I'd want them both. I'm trying to convince the wife to let me get a 12 valve for playing around.
