12v Mods Dyno Results

Been working on a local 12v latley which is a 97 12v auto and before we did some pump tweaking, (100 Plate,Gov Shim,AFC Mods 16* timing). At that time it layed down 280hp & about 670tq uncorrected since then we've added (4k gsk, Mack rack Plug, 60lb springs & 18.5* timing) and tonite it put down 348hp & 804tq and the humidity was around 85* so I think we'll try it on a better day to hopfully see a lil more out of it. So it picked up about 68hp and 134tq with those mod changes. Just thought some of you guys would be intrested in these results, and that was with a stock charger and sticks. And the trucks baseline was 170hp and about as much torque as a Civic

I check back in the computer and the first mod run was 280hp & 670tq to be exact, I was just going off what he said he made.

And it's a Mack Rack Plug, or where you just being sarcastic?

Thanks John

It is the final stop in the pump's rack travel. Putting in a Mack Plug lets you get even more travel out of the pump for more fueling. Just make sure your AFC is modded and your plate is ground deep and you will pick up some ponies...

Yeah it will give more travel for added fuel, if your AFC is modified to allow it to. Here's a pic of one it goes in between the front of the pump and the timing cover, look at it from up top you'll see it. Let me know if you want one.

Droped in some marine 370's and spun the rollers to find a net of about 75hp with the 370 injectors.

nice info. I like to see results like that when you install parts and then show what it does on the dyno
