I am just wondering what sort of numbers I should be looking for when doing a Dyno Test on a used 12V truck prior to purchase?

How much should a dyno test cost? How many pulls are usually included and where is a good place in So Cal to get one done?

Why are you doing a pre-purchase dyno?

As for the actual numbers, my 215hp truck did 175hp at the wheels.

Its common practice in the big truck world and it really helps you figure out the condition of the engine/drive train. Turbo'd Engines are really hard to tell if they are running right unless you can put a load on them in my opinion. A Dyno run is the easiest way to do that!
