What year Ford? What year Dodge?
I have a '79 F250 with a '89 Cummins. On my truck, I kept the whole donor truck untill I got the engine running. I used the alternator, regulator and wiring harness. I kept the whole harness on the drivers side of the engine and spliced into it for fuel kill, KSB, oil pressure and water temperature. I also used the grid heater relays and wiring. Keep your donor untill you finish, not only do you need wiring, but there are tons of small parts you will end up using. I cant even begine to tell the times I went out to the Dodge to get a part
