12.457 @ 109mph

Went to the track today and ran a total of 5 times. Never could launch without spining all four EXTREMLY bad at the line. My best run was a:
RT .192
60 1.827
330 5.190
1/8 7.966@88.34mph
1000 10.393
1/4 12.457 at 109.06 mph
This was all with a little over a quarter of a tank, and my 35" mickey thompsons, with better tires and a missing spare tire and a empty tank i think i could have easily nailed a 12.3 or 12.2 This was with my crazy larry and edge ez on 2. One of the races i even whiped a arial comit(SP, some type of wierd looking race car). Ill have video links up shortly so you can see how bad i spun. I was hoping for a 12.8, definatly pleased with the day, after spool up theirs no smoke so in the next week or two with the floor it stage II and maybe even larger injectors im hoping for an 11.9X

Nice work ,
I took my wife & son to the local track last year to watch.
She was taking it all in & enjoying the action.
On our way out (She dropped the bomb!).
(don't even think about racing your truck)
I was soooo close.

Nice runs. I haven't seen to many reg cabs running around. I bet you can get that in the 11.9x somethings with a little more tuning.

good run, your 60ft times a little high,is that from defueling or traction? Get the 60ft times down to 1.69 and the et will drop .2 right there.

Its defiantly traction, or in my case lack of. Every run i made just spun at the launch. Im hoping to get some cheap rims and some toyo proxes or something along thouse lines.

97360 yeah its nice to say you can spin out in 4wd but man i wish i could hook and drop those et's down!

sloverado- your right you sure dont see many reg. cabs. I had to look forever to find one that was fully loaded with an auto(and i wouldnt buy a work me white truck), im thinking it has payed of though.

Im hoping the van aaken c5 will be available soon(im on 2 pre order list) and see if i cant do any better. With only smoking on spool up the next step is defiantly a pump though, tommrow i will be installing a water meth kit as well, mainly for the cooling benefits but i may try to tag a 12.2-12.3 with some 30% mix next weekend, also hoping to be having more fuel as well. Im just glad the tracks finally open!
