Question 100% Water with my Snow Stage 3?

Can I run 100% water in my Snow Performance Stage 3 Water/Meth injection? I want to lower EGTs for towing and am going to set up a 20 or 30 gallon tank under the truck and fill it with water. Will I have to do any modding to the system or should it work right away? Any ideas on what % I should run on the boost since I won't have any meth in the tank?

Just be careful you dont run too much water.
I have read of a lot disasters with water injection on daily driver trucks that use it on road.

I would honestly say just use the water for competition.

Dont you think Justin that it would be more dangerous to run too much meth, rather than too much water,, I would think that if you ran too much water you might put out the flame but that is about it? I could be wrong,, I know that if you run too much meth that you can raise cylinder pressures too high, hence blowing a head gasket

Yeah too much meth can cause a bunch of issues. But too much water like you say can "put out the flame" and then you water in your oil. Why risk it?
Just tow safely within the stock parameters of the trucks capabilities.

I guess I should have been more clear. I am looking to do that (i.e., run the water) ONLY when towing heavy.

ats says to run water only in there system its posted on the web site so if ats is saying to run only water im sure you will be just fine they also say that meth is not recommened to do all the problems such as lifting the head and so on.

Use Napa #13 additive in your water. Timinva swears by it. It lubricates the pump and will keep the inside of your head from rusting which is one of the biggest problems with straight water. Snow says you need the meth with the water to get the full cooling benefits but I don't necassarily agree with that. Water also raises you compression ratio hint like Justin said raising head.

Hope this help some.

100% water will cool combustion and egts and will increase power approx 20-30 hp. That comes right from snow performance so you will be alright. I take it you have dual 625 ml nozzles, I would set your boost setting on low instead of high. And just tune it to were you truck runs smooth. If just for towing make sure you are not set on boost only.

100% water will make some power, but it has to be a vapour. if you inject too much you will be trying to compress a liquid and you WILL bust a gasket.

Meth is fine to use with water and accually works in unison with the water---thats why the kits are called water meth injection.

Many towing trucks use water AND meth, if done correctly it will yield more power and cooler temps, just start small. www.snowperformance.net is the best i have used.
