1 piece drive shaft ?????
I called a dealer in Tx a asked how much the 1 piece drive shaft is for my pickup 06 4x4 q/c cummins.... he said $306 but he said there was no direct part number for a 06.... so i looked of doghouse diesel website and found the one for 550 ish with a part number.... i called the dealership back and gave him the part number from doghouse diesel and he told me that part number was for 07-10. he said the 306$ on was for 4.5 - 06 but.... offically there is no 1 piece drive shaft for 06, but he sells this one for 06 pickups and has never had a problem.... do any of yall know what he is talking about??? I do not want to drive over 100 miles for a mistake, just trying to do my homework first..

i realize that the one from dog house diesel works by all posts on this subject, i was wondering if there is another part number which is cheaper that will work that this dealer says works, or is the parts guy wrong???
